On this next episode of the podcast, we're traveling to the gorgeous island of Saint Martin to talk about the first and only electronic music festival to be held on the island, SXM Festival, with the founder of the festival, Julian Prince and VP Marketing & Business Development of SXM, Olivia Gottlieb. I was so curious to know how Julian ended up creating a festival on the island, what it has brought to the area, and how it has helped grow the local music scene as well as challenges they’ve come across such as hurricane Irma in 2017 and then obviously a global pandemic a few years later. A really interesting story that unites electronic music lovers from all over the world to dance together whilst bringing so much to the island and the local people.
